Dr. Chao received Epidemiology training from National Taiwan University in Taiwan and molecular biology training in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USA (US-CDC). She has many years of field-work experiences and publications for zoonotic and vaccine-related work, including dengue viruses and avian influenza viruses.
